• Genre: Action
• Plot: The Heroic Ones; ; No screen team was more triumphant in the Golden Age of kung-fu cinema than the iron triangle of director Chang Cheh and his protégés David Chiang and Ti Lung. This is their quintessential historical epic, set during the waning years of the Tang Dynasty.; ; It s literally brother against brother as David Chiang and Ti Lung display their remarkable martial arts prowess battling insiders and outsiders in a duel to the death for the fate of China. ; ; ; The Battle Wizard; ; Based on Chin Yung's novel The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, a brother, Tuan Yu, who loves books and a sister, Mu Wan-Ching, who loves swords must face the yellow-robed warrior, the Red Python, a sinuous snake-charmer and a silk-masked beauty (who must kill or wed the first man to see her face) before they can bring peace to their battle-addled family. ; ; Danny Lee (John Woo's The Killer) stars as Tuan Yu, while the striking Tanny Tien Ni, plays Mu Wan-Ching, in this familial fight fest. Choreographed by Tang Chia and Huang Pei-Chi and directed by Pao Hsueh-li, trusted co-director for several of Chang Cheh's most memorable productions including The Water Margin, The Battle Wizard is kung-fu action and pure entertainment! ; ; ; The Duel of the Century; ; Directed by Chu Yuan (Co-star of Jackie Chan's Police Story), Duel of the Century is a martial arts epic. Liu Yung and Sun Chien (Chang Cheh's internationally acclaimed series The Five Veenom) team up to investigate their close friend, a wounded swordsman, who has challenged another man to a duel. However, through their investigation the men find more then they bargain for including deception, double-dealings, imposters, and one deadly duel after another. ; ; Duel of the Century is one of the last collaborations between Directo Chu Yuan and famed Chinese wuxia novelist Ku Lung for Shaw Brothers Studio. ; ; ; Two Champions of Shaolin; ; A team that ranks high in the pantheon of cult kung-fu flicks is a quintet of martial artists who burst upon the screen in The Five Venoms, followed by Crippled Avengers and other cult classics. The five venoms are reunited in Two Champions Of Shaolin, with four of the fab five wreaking havoc on screen and the fifth venom active behind the camera as action choreographer. It's a battle between two Ching Dynasty clans, Shaolin and Wutang. The Shaolin champions are anti-Manchu and, naturally, represent the forces of good as they use their considerable force to crush the devious Wutang clan. ; ; The man behind the mayhem, director Chang Cheh, virtually invented the Shaolin genre of kung-fu movies and shows he has more than a few new tricks up his sleeve when unleashing his venomous heroes.
